Bytown Ski Club is returning to the French Alps this coming winter for our ski/snowboard group excursion going to the beautiful Trois Vallees ski region, the largest ski area in the world. The all-inclusive area ski pass will allow skiers and boarders to ski the 3 Valleys which are home to eight internationally renowned ski resorts.

Les 3 Vallées comprise the resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires - Saint Martin, Val Thorens and Orelle. This massive ski region, linked together by ski runs and ski lifts, has over 600 kms of interconnected slopes and 180 ski lifts. Each of the 3 valleys ski resort is different. Our ski in-out mountain hotel is located in Courchevel 1550, reputed to be the most attractive village in the Trois Vallees.

We have reserved the full allotment of available rooms at Courchevel’s Hotel Les Flocons. We are limited to only one single room, 13 two-person rooms, and three types of multi-person separate bed suites, with no opportunity to add to our Bytown room capacity.”

The Bytown Ski Club will use Swiss/Lufthansa for return flights between Montreal to Geneva, via Zurich Switzerland (Munich on the return portion) and a private coach between Ottawa VIA train station and Dorval Airport. We shall use private deluxe coach transfers (approximately 2.5 hours) between Geneva Airport and our hotel in the Trois Vallee French village of Courchevel.

The Obert Family run Hotel Les Flocons is located in the heart of the Courchevel 1550 village. In addition to accommodation, the Hôtel les Flocons offers you the best of hospitality with its numerous facilities such as the restaurant, the lounge bar and the wellness area comprising a sauna, hammam and tropical shower. For skiers and boarders, the great feature of this hotel is that we can ski to and from the hotel front door without taking your skis off! The hotel is located directly opposite the "Les Tovets" 6-seater detachable chairlift (open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) for direct access to the 3 Valleys. The group will have a buffet breakfast and multi-course dinner served daily in this trip package.

Courchevel is a series of five villages linked by lifts and a free ski bus. The hotel is 100 meters from the Grangettes urban gondola lift, which connects Courchevel 1550 to Courchevel 1850 in 5 minutes (open non-stop from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.). This gondola lift provides access to the floodlit toboggan run until 7:00 p.m. There is free bus service to Courchevel 1350, 1650, or 1850 with the bus stop 175 meters from the hotel. These buses operate from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. 600 meters from the hotel. A 10- to 12-minute walk, is the largest European mountain aquatic center, AQUAMOTION, with sports, water fun, relaxation, wellness and spa, and gourmet areas. At AQUAMOTION, you can go surfing and climbing!

Your Trois Vallees all-area ski pass provides you access to over 600 kms of ski pistes serviced by 180 lifts. Green runs are 13%, Blue runs 39%, Red runs 38% and Black runs are 10% of the Trois Vallees ski terrain.

Registration Information

Reservations for the limited number of group package spots will be accepted on first-come basis starting 9:00 a.m. on Wenesday August 13, 2025 by phoning Touringhouse at 613-741-2942 and/or submitting an application to Touringhouse by mail, deliver to office, or email attachment.
There will be a trip information meeting, open to all, on Tuesday September 09, 2025 from 18:30 - 19:30 at the Chamber, at Centrepointe Theatre /Ottawa Public Library, 101 Centepointe Drive, Ottawa K2G 5K7 (directions at bottom).

Initial deposits of $800, plus optional insurance must be made at time of application to guarantee your reservation, together with your application.If you are reserving your spot by phone call or email, your $800 application fee (and insurance payment if required) must be paid to Touringhouse within seven calendar days.
Balance of payment is due with post-dated cheque dated November 15, 2024, or email transfer or credit card payment before November 6, 2025.
Payments can be made by email transfer to travel@touringhouse.com, by VISA or MASTERCARD or by cheques payable to Touringhouse and mailed or dropped off at our office at 876 Montreal Road, Suite 201, Ottawa, Ontario, K1K 4L3.
If requiring travel insurance, it must be paid at time of initial deposit. See the trip application form.
Touringhouse will endeavour to pair single registrants into a two-person room or suite, if possible and upon request. In event of a pairing option, you would be provided an opportunity to network with your potential roommate prior to finalization.
Please note that payments once made are fully non-refundable unless eligible for insurance refund or the trip has to be cancelled by Touringhouse/Bytown Ski Club and suppliers.

Deviations

While the group must depart together from Ottawa, individuals will be allowed to change their return date, provided requests are made in writing by October 31, 2025.
The airlines allow only 20% of the passengers in the group to change their return date. For example, if only 30 passengers take the full package with air, only 6 persons will be able to deviate.
Extensions are permitted for a maximum of 7 days after the group returns. Deviations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will be an Swiss Air/Lufthansa service charge of $100.00 per person to process individual deviations plus the applicable incremental airfare if the same class of service is not available on the return. We cannot guarantee the same airfare for individuals returning on a different date.
Land only, or deviation people, are welcome to use the group coach transfers between the airport and the hotel, IF they make prior arrangements to join the group in advance to coach departures. We cannot give a credit for transfers which are not used by passengers making their own air arrangements or deviating.
