Depart on your overnight flight from Toronto or Montreal to Cairo, via a European gateway.
On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a breathtaking experience as you marvel at one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (including a camel ride). In the afternoon, visit Zoser's ancient step pyramid of Sakkara and stop at Memphis where we will admire the huge statue of Ramses II. Overnight in Cairo.
This morning, proceed to Old Cairo and the Egyptian Museum, home of King Tutankhamun's priceless treasures. You will also visit the Citadel of Salah El Dinh and the Alabaster Mosque (Mohammed Ali Mosque). In the evening, take a sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be on board the train.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to your cruise ship for your 4-day/3-night cruise. In the afternoon visit the High dam, Granite Quarries, and Temple of Philae. Lunch will be on board. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board your cruise ship.
Breakfast will be on board. Visit the Temple of Horus. Sail to Esna. Sail to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. Lunch and dinner will be on board your cruise ship.
Visit the West Bank, the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Deir el Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight will be in Luxor on board the ship.
Disembarkation will be after breakfast. Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. In the evening, board your sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast will be on board.
On arrival in Cairo, you will be picked up by our ground operator and taken on a tour to Old Cairo including the Hanging Church and the largest 13th century covered oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After the tour, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Cairo.
Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Toronto or Montreal.

Teachers with as few as 6 paying passengers can join one of our tours, by joining another group already registered.
Depending on the chaperone ratio, these are the cost differences:
