Tour itinerary

Day 1 - Day of departure

Depart on your flight from Toronto or Montreal to Athens via a European gateway.
Day 2 - Athens

On arrival in Athens, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking orientation tour with a local guide. Welcome cocktail followed by dinner at your hotel.
Day 3 - Athens

After breakfast, enjoy a half day guided tour of Athens to include the Olympic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus, the ancient Roman ruins and the Acropolis. In the afternoon, there will be a guided visit to the National Archaeological Museum. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Athens.
Day 4 - Athens / Full day cruise

After breakfast, depart on a full-day 3-island cruise. See the beautiful islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Return to your hotel for dinner and the night.
Day 5 - Athens / Delphi

After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and depart on a full day excursion to Delphi. Drive through Levadia and Arachova (famous for its bright multi-coloured carpets). On arrival in Delphi, you will visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, the museum and the Treasury of the Athenians. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and the night.
Day 6 - Delphi / Argolis / Nauplia

Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Depart for the region of Argolis. There will be a stop for lunch en route. On arrival, visit the 4th Century BC theater of Epidaurus, famous for its acoustics. Continue to Mycenae, the Homeric city of the Atreides Ð the city "rich in gold". Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean walls, the Royal Tombs of Agamemnon and Clytemenistra. After the tour, transfer to your hotel located in the beautiful town of Nauplia for dinner and the night.
Day 7 - Nauplia / Athens / Rhodes

Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Depart for Athens. There will also be a stop at the Corinth Canal for pictures. Continue to Athens, where on arrival, you will be transferred to the airport in order to take your flight to Rhodes. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Rhodes.
Day 8 - Rhodes

Buffet breakfast at your hotel followed by a full day guided tour of Rhodes. The Crusading Knights of St. John left the medieval city of Rhodes when they were defeated by Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent. The Ottoman Turks then occupied Rhodes for almost 400 years, leaving mosques, minarets and a Turkish bath to mark their presence. Your tour will include a visit to the Medieval Palace of the Knights of Saint John and the Acropolis at Lindos. Return to your hotel for dinner and the night.
Day 9 - Rhodes / Crete

Buffet breakfast followed a free day in Rhodes to enjoy this beautiful island at your own pace. After dinner, you will be transferred to the airport in order to take your flight to Crete. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 10 - Crete

Buffet breakfast followed by a half day guided tour of Heraklion, the capital of Crete, and the ruins of the palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 by Sir Arthur Evans, the Palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos. The Archaeological Museum in Heraklion displays many of the treasures found during the excavations. In the afternoon, enjoy a journey to the ruins of the huge Minoan city of Malia. The site was discovered by Joseph Hatzidakis and since 1921 has been excavated by the French School of Archaeology. The excavations at Malia are of particular interest, since the site ceased to be inhabited at the Second Millennium B.C. and is not therefore cluttered with traces of later construction. Return to you hotel via Agios Nikolaos, a smart and lively resort set on the slopes above the sparkling waters of Mirambelo Bay.
Day 11 - Crete

Buffet breakfast, followed by a full day at leisure in Crete to enjoy the sun and the beach. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 12 - Crete / Santorini

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier, to board your high-speed ferry to Santorini, the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands. On arrival, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day walking tour of Fira. You will see the town's whitewashed houses, narrow streets, open air cafes and glittering boutiques which cling to steep cliffs, accessible by cable-car or mule. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.
Day 13 - Santorini / Athens

After breakfast, depart on your flight from Santorini to Athens. On arrival, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful city on your own and do your last-minute souvenir shopping. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a typical Greek Taverna in the Plaka.
Day 14 - Day of Return

Transfer to the airport in order to take your return flight to Toronto or Montreal.
